About us

Who are We?

We are BrainwaveS Neurorehab Solutions. We aim to develop and provide complete Neuropsychological Rehabilitation solutions using cutting edge technology to address the cognitive, behavioural and motor deficits that result from injury to the brain.

What We do?

We develop affordable solutions catering to patients suffering from post-stroke symptoms like paralysis and muscle movement. Our solutions aim to facilitate such patients throughout their rehabilitation process, making it as fun, easy and engaging as possible.

How we do It?

We are using cutting edge technology like Virtual Reality and Brain-Computer Interfaces to address the cognitive, behavioural and motor deficits that result from injury to the brain. Our suite includes a range of products from fully immersive VR games customized for rehabilitation to motion-capture hardware modules.

Are We Commercial?

We are not commercial yet, still in the design and development stage. We are backed by major organisations and experts from this field who are helping us make this product the finest of its kind.

Why us?

Research Driven

Our claims are based on all the research done on this subject and results from various tests on patients over the previous decade.

Engaging VR Experience

We are providing a full-immersion VR suite that will virtually replicate the patient’s movements and scale them to make the rehabilitation process engaging and fun. This will reduce the chance of patients wanting to quit.

Heal Faster and Better

The VR rehabilitation experiments have shown that the patients suffering from post-stroke symptoms recover faster compared to when using traditional methods.

Prototype

Prototype 1

involves engaging hemiplegic patients in a VR cricket game using the Oculus Quest 2. A single IMU sensor captures the motion of the disabled arm, with initially scaled movements. As performance improves, the difficulty increases. Patient data is stored locally and accessible via USB. This prototype has been developed and a preliminary clinical investigation done. The obligations tied to the NIDHI Prayas grant that we received have been completed by the complition of prototype 1.

Prototype 2

Prototype 2 is currently being developed and shares similarities with the first, having a multi-level VR game console that offers a variety of games for different physiotherapist-recommended movements. It employs multiple IMU sensors, capturing joint angles from various body locations. Data is stored in the cloud, accessible to authorized personnel, and includes a dedicated dashboard for physicians to monitor patient progress.
